  2. Very poignant. I have a picture of my Grandad before he went off to fight at The Somme. The look on both his and his mother's face tell the story

  3. It's often said that haiku have to have a little bit of positive thinking or at least a smile. Here we have not. And I do agree. This great verse makes me sad. Like war does.
