A black bishop moving from f8 to b4? That was Kasparov's (blacks) move # 12. 30.1.1985. Karpov replies Ke1-e2, and Kasparov attacking Bishop c8-g4, (chess!) Twenty moves later Karpov (whites) resigns. ;-)

Interesting...our pavement (sidewalk), which is most often concrete, is white/gray.

I saw this at winter haiku and its stuck with me since. As others have said, I pictured you carefully making your way across a frozen chessboard.
