  5. This haiku took me back to my childhood, walking the hills and hollows of North Carolina with my dad looking for a Christmas tree, ax in one hand, shotgun in the other.

    Thank you, John.

I have a little project that I've been working on over the past year called Haiku - Three Questions. Please consider contributing. I'd like to add your unique voice to the poets who have already contributed.

    Happy Holidays!

  9. Theres something a bit magical about this - ambiguous too as Masago pointed out - I almost sense the writer as the stag. Interesting what a smell can provoke.
