    So happy to see you are still here John; and writing as wonderfully as ever. A writer I met in London when I was in the UK in 2006 (yes 20 years ago this October) has just contacted me on facebook and it reminded me of you and these wonderful witty haiku you do.     How wonderful to hear from you. I remember my wife and I meeting you , your daughter and grandson in glasgow. In fact it led to a haiku :

    haiku tasht
    wi Drambuie

    haijin meet -
    haiku stained
    with Drambuie
